Dr. de L'Etraz is an ex-investment banker with over 20 years in M&A at UBS Bank and ABN AMRO Bank. He has 2 patents to his name and has been an avid entrepreneur and angel investor since 2002.
Upon completing his PhD, he began investigating the quantitative mindset of various professions, or "quants," as he calls them in his Tedx Talk. His study of quants was a monthly column in the CEIBS Business review in China.
He is a professor of entrepreneurship at IE Business School and has run the IE Venture Lab since 2009. He is also a visiting professor at KEIO University and GLOBIS University in Japan.
