Mr. Kirk began his career as a professional cook in his home city of Philadelphia, but after moving to Tokyo, he decided to put down the pan and pick up a pen. He joined GLOBIS Corporation in 2021 and is currently an editor of GLOBIS Insights.
His writing on food, culture, gaming, and business has been published across the web and in print, including The Japan Times, Japan Cheapo, Tokyo Weekender, and GLOBIS Insights.
He holds a BA in communication studies with a focus in journalism from Temple University, Japan Campus.
