In 2016, she moved to Tokyo, Japan, where she worked first as an English teacher and then a freelance writer before joining GLOBIS Corporation in 2021 as an editor of GLOBIS Insights.

She holds a BA in art history from Concordia University and a Certificate of French Professional Writing from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
