Mr. Murayama is an education consultant and conceptual craftsperson at Career Portrait Consulting, as well as an author of several books. He performs in-house training on topics such as professionalism, managing, and career development, focusing on a philosophical approach to work. He has spoken at multiple GLOBIS Career Club (GCC) seminars.

He graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics in 1986, and has since worked for Nikkei BP, Benesse Corporation, and NTT Data. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute in Chicago and later achieved an MBA from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Commerce.
