Mr. Ishiai has forged a distinguished career in senior management roles at several global companies, both in Japan and abroad. He currently heads the Japan office of Cabot Japan, a specialty chemicals and performance materials company headquartered in the United States.

Prior to joining Cabot Corporation, Mr. Ishiai served as Senior Executive Office and CEO of the Japan, Asia, LifeScience Business Group of Arysta LifeScience Corporation. Mr. Ishiai’s previous experience includes Senior Vice President of Invensys Climate Controls Asia/Pacific, simultaneously serving as President and CEO of Ranco Japan, an Invensys subsidiary. He also worked for General Electric in Japan and the United States, serving as Chief Operating Officer and President of GE Polymerland in Japan.

He holds a bachelors degree in commercial science from Keio University.
