Daisuke Iwase is Co -Founder and Representative Director of Lifenet Insurance Company, a premier online life insurance company based in Tokyo. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group, and also worked at Ripplewood Holdings, a private equity firm.

In 2010, Iwase was selected as “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum. He is also a member of the Tokyo Committee for Human Rights Watch, one of the world' s leading independent organizations dedicated to defending human rights. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School where he was elected Baker Scholar, and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo.
