Mr. Sinha is president of the Sun and Sands Group, a pioneer in India-Japan cross-border investment and business advisory. He is also country representative in Japan for TATA Asset Management and TATA Realty and Infrastructure. He's been a columnist for the Nikkei newspaper, governor of banking and finance for the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, and founding president of IIT Alumni Association Japan.

As an academic, he has served as visiting faculty at the International University of Japan, advisor at Kyoto University, presidential advisor at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, advisor at the Indian Scientists Association in Japan, and president of the Japan India Auto Components Association.

He has been a frequent contributor to major media, universities, and public forums, including NHK, CAMBRIA KYUDEN (TV Tokyo), Fuji TV, Kezai Doyukai, Keidanren, and JICA, among others. He obtained a masters in applied finance from Macquarie University after studying physics at IIT.
