Jean-Paul Leboutet

Mr. Jean-Paul Leboutet currently advises on Governance, Risks and Controls. He develops professionals and sits on the advisory board of private equity investors. Previously, Mr. Leboutet was Head of Audit for Asia-Pacific with Lehman Brothers. He has spent twenty years in Asia at senior roles, managing large teams and monitoring risks on complex derivatives. Between 2000 and 2004, he was in charge of International Strategy at Societe Generale, assessing acquisitions and divestitures on behalf of the Chairman, in particular in North America. Mr. Leboutet started his career in banking with the Inspection Generale of the same firm. He has also worked as a cost analyst for E.D.F., the French national electric power company.

Mr. Leboutet received a MSc. (Honors) from H.E.C., Paris, majoring in Finance, Economics and is Certified Internal Auditor. He participated also in executive programs, such as investment banking at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. He speaks and writes fluent Japanese.
