Mr. Kuroda's career, in service as well as in manufacturing industries, has brought him to various regions in Europe, West Africa, and Southeast Asia, as well as Japan. Through these assignments, he acquired a sensibility in working with people of different backgrounds and cultures. He defines himself as a corporate entrepreneur determined to master the soft skills required to motivate people.

While working with Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS), a Swiss based- company, Mr. Kuroda managed various projects and teams in Kenya, Tanzania, Japan, and the Philippines. He is now based in Japan, responsible for the Abrasives Division of Saint Gobain for Developed Asia.

He holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, an MSc in plasma physics from the University of Orsay, France, and a BSc in plasma physics from EPFL, Switzerland.
