Mr. du Bois has extensive experience in business and research related to startups in Japan and Japan's relation to emerging markets. He has worked in the legal, consulting, and academic fields with a specific focus on connecting Japan to Africa and supporting the growth of globally minded startups in Japan. He is currently managing the startup inception program at the University of Tokyo.
He holds an MPhil in modern Japanese studies from the Nissan Institute of Japanese Studies at the University of Oxford.
