Mr. Yakubov enjoyed an early career working in economic consulting. Later, he worked at Pacific Gas & Electric. He is passionate about the demand side of energy and how energy and electricity usage impacts consumers.

He is an MBA graduate from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
