Tomoyasu Kato founded Katoh Pleasure Group in 1962, and he has since worked with his team to develop a wide range of leisure businesses, ranging from high-end ramen restaurants to river cruises, glamping sites, hotels and resorts, cinemas and many other entertainment facilities. On 1 April 2023, Tomoyasu passed the CEO role over to his son, Hiroaki Katoh, who currently serves as Executive Managing Director and Group COO. Tomoyasu Kato is currently working as the "Representative Director of the Group" with total responsibility for management, people operations and organizational architecture.
