Mr. Lloyd is a 53-year dual-national of Australia and New Zealand, who has lived in Japan for 28 years. A "self-made man" in the truest sense, he formed his first company on a working holiday visa at the age of 25, in Japan, and has established more than 17 companies since then.

He has had seven successful earn-outs including: LINC Computer and HK-based TechMan sold to EDS in 1995, Web division sold to Chinadotcom in 2000, and DaiJob Inc. sold to Human Holdings in 2005.

He is currently operating six companies, including systems integrator BiOS, incubator LINC Media, publishers Metropolis and Japan Inc. Communications and software developer MetroWorks. He has approximately 140 staff, and is headquartered in Tokyo.
