Mr. Lewis is a social entrepreneur based in Japan who has worked with social businesses, civic groups, and inter-governmental organizations (including the World Bank) for over ten years. He has managed sustainable development projects around the world, from Japan to Haiti and Mozambique, and was recognized by MIT Technology Review in its inaugural "Top Innovators Under 35" Japan awards.
He is a cofounder of mymizu, a platform to reduce consumption of single-use plastics through the power of technology and community. He is also the representative director of Social Innovation Japan, a platform for social good focusing on SDGs. It was named by Nikkei as one of the 100 companies building the future of Japan, as well as a two-time winner of Japan's Minister of Environment Prize.
Mr. Lewis is on the board of Shibuya QWS and Youth4Nature and graduated with an MA in international business from the University of Edinburgh.
