Native to a small town in Transylvania, Romania, Ms. Neagu spent most of her professional life in Tokyo, Japan before moving to San Francisco, California. Upon graduation from University of Bucharest with a degree in linguistics, she started working in the Tokyo recruitment industry with Robert Walters, focusing on hiring bilingual talent across various industries.

In 2013, she joined Google Japan to oversee hiring across different business groups across APAC region. Two years later, she moved to Google’s headquarters in California where she oversees global technical hiring for Google Cloud.

Ms. Neagu lives in Austin, Texas and consults on talent and people operations throughout North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
