Dr. Ford came to Japan in 1994 as principal scientist of several aerospace endeavors between the U.S. and Japan governments. Since then, he has been working extensively in corporate venturing, strategy, and restructuring for multinational and Japanese clients.

Concurrently, Ford is involved with medical ventures and teaches at two universities in Tokyo. His scientific interests include fluid mechanics and oncology.

He holds a PhD and MS in aerospace engineering from Boston University, an MBA from Duke University, and a BSc in astrophysics from the University of Toronto.
